Compliance with the law will be the absolute minimum requirement but we recommend that you always go a stage further that can be even more profitable. Safety management starts at the top; therefore the directors will ensure that the company manages safety effectively by setting clear standards and measures of performance. These standards will be monitored to help prevent injuries to employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and members of the public. If an incident occurs, the causes will be thoroughly investigated and lessons learnt to make our operations safer in the future.

As the business grows, documented procedures will be put in place to formally communicate the minimum expected standards by way of a health and safety or risk management system. These systems will be reviewed whenever there are changes to the business, or at least annually.
